About Gangbusters Drain Service

Gangbusters Drain Service started in 1976 by Michael P. Suehr.

Mike's idea for the company was influenced by his father, Robert L. Suehr (Bob). Mike began working with his father at an early age because Bob had lost both of his hands in an accident in 1957 and needed help from time to time. Mike would help Bob and his older brothers in the family plumbing business, "Able Plumbing."

Bob was a colorful person and would use expressions to describe things as he saw them. One such expression was "it's running like gangbusters", which he would say after successfully opening an obstructed sewer. Bob's memory and this expression caused Mike to name the company Gangbusters Drain Service as a memorial to his dad. We will always miss him and never forget how he always overcame all the obstacles he encountered in his life.

Growing up around Bob gave all of his 11 children a drive and motivation unlike any that others will ever know. His persistence coupled with a cheerful attitude in the face of adversity has become the hallmark of Gangbuster's work. The toughest jobs are the one we do best. We actually thrive as a business because of our reputation for tackling and succeeding at the toughest jobs using the least invasive methods and using the latest technology available in all areas of sewer and drain cleaning and pipeline rehabilitation in both the public and private sectors.

Today, Gangbusters is a growing support service for local plumbers in and around Allegheny County. Our focus for the last eight years has been to help local small plumbing businesses compete on a level playing field with national franchises. These national chains have services and equipment that the smaller plumbers don't have and technologies they are not expert in. We don't need the spotlight; we know who we are and what our capabilities are. If your plumber needs our help we are there for them so they can give you the best service at the fairest price.

We offer these services to our existing customers and new customers directly on a daily basis. We want to educate the consumer on alternative solutions to their everyday sewer problems.
